TV5 is a 24-hour Telugu language news channel in India. It was launched on October 2, 2007 by Nara Chandra Babu Naidu, YS Rajasekhara Reddy and chiranjeevi. The channel's CEO is Siva Rama Prasad. It telecasts 24 hourly news bulletins, 30 special news bulletins, with the support of 294 special reporters in every constituency of the state of Andhra Pradesh, 8 OB vans, and 6 metro bureaus.

The channel recently courted controversy on Jan 07 when it aired a baseless and malicious story linking the death of YS Rajasekhar Reddy to the Reliance Group. Police have registered cases against the channel and probing the incident.
